Community Service

We instill in our students a sense of responsibility to positively contribute to the Meadowbrook community and beyond. In fact, Meadowbrook's community service efforts extend from local nursing homes and shelters in Waltham all the way to clothing drives for communities in Western Canada and South Africa.

But what makes community service truly special at Meadowbrook is its source—a wonderful combination of academic curriculum, student-organized efforts, and parent involvement—working in tandem towards a common goal of helping others.

H.O.P.E., Helping Others Prosper Everywhere, is Meadowbrook's community service organization that helps guide our students, faculty, and parents in community service endeavors. Year round, H.O.P.E continually makes a difference in the lives of other people all across the world.

Some of Meadowbrook's community service efforts include:

  • Collecting tab-tops for The Ronald McDonald House
  • Annual Dance-a-Thon for cancer research
  • Pan-Mass Challenge bike-a-thon
  • Valentines for U.S. service men and women abroad
  • Clothing drives for youth aid in Kliptown South Africa and the Exshaw School, British Columbia
  • Book drives
