Athletics
Interscholastic sports competition becomes part of the physical education curriculum in Grades Four and Five in soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball. Grades Six through Eight participate in a wide range of sports including: soccer, basketball, lacrosse, baseball, softball, tennis, squash, rock climbing, swimming, and dance.
The School's highest priority in interscholastic sports is learning and enjoyable participation for all. "Spirit Cup" awards reinforce the importance of effort, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
It is our firm belief that the lessons learned on the athletic field prepare our students for experiences later in life; by focusing on the process of playing, they learn how to become winners in life, not just on the field.
Meadowbrook is proud to host a 6th grade girls' soccer tournament, 6th grade girls' and boys' basketball tournaments, and an 8th grade boys' basketball tournament for area independent schools
