Everyone has a role in educating our students, and we love to see friends, family, and alumni on campus. Once you've joined the Meadowbrook community, your connection to us is forever.

The Parents Association is an active part of the school community. All Meadowbrook parents and guardians are a vital resource to the school, and are automatically members of Parents' Association.

Our hope is that the broad range of volunteer opportunities will provide parents and guardians with meaningful, fun and rewarding ways to meet others, observe the day-to-day atmosphere of the school, and contribute to our community.

We have a number of Parents Association committees that provide wide-ranging volunteer opportunities. Join the community service committee and help our students find ways to give back to others, or if your interests lean more towards the literary, join the Brookbinder Magazine committee, or if you like organizing events, join the Fallfest committee and help bring the community together for some fun and games. Whatever your interest or talent, you can find a way to put them to good use at Meadowbrook!

Volunteering

Here is a sampling of some of the volunteer opportunities available to parents and guardians at Meadowbrook.

Room Volunteers

Help the teachers in a variety of ways - organize class gifts, parties, communicate to fellow parents about important classroom updates and activities.

Library Committee

Shelve books, arrange special author visits, or organize the Book Fair. If you love books and reading, this might be perfect for you.

Faculty Friends Committee

We love our faculty! Help organize the annual faculty luncheon around the holidays, or plan special treats and surprises for our teachers.

School Store

Everyone loves their Meadowbrook swag. Help choose new items to be sold in our online store, manage inventory, and help sell items at some school events!

PIN Representatives

As members of the Parents of Independent Schools Network, we need Meadowbrook parents or guardians to attend meetings on behalf of the school and help plan occasional programs for parent education.

And Much More!

Many more opportunities exist for volunteerism. Be sure to look for communications from the Parents Association early in the school year to learn more about specific needs that are coming up!
