Film/Video
The Film/Video class allows small groups of students to explore all areas of film production, from creation of storyboards and writing scripts to acting, filming, directing, and digital editing. The class begins with a blank sheet of paper and a brainstorming session, and works through the entire process from basic idea to completed movie. Students are free to choose from any genre, from music video to documentary, and in addition to completing the film, they gain valuable insight into the collaborative nature of filmmaking and learn all of the skills necessary to create their own movies.
