DAY CAMP STAFF

The Meadowbrook Day Camp takes pride in hiring a mature and qualified staff. Each individual is chosen on the basis of enthusiasm, love for children, teaching experience, creativity, commitment to safety, and an interest in the outdoors. Eligible candidates are drawn from the teaching profession, graduate schools, colleges and surrounding public and private high schools. A high percentage of Meadowbrook staff return each summer and many counselors were former Meadowbrook campers.

CAMPER/STAFF RATIOS

The day camp staff numbers over 100 each summer. Camper to counselor ratios are in compliance with American Camp Association standards and are contingent upon the age of the campers and activities. Each group is led by one or two adult Senior Counselors with support from Assistant Counselors. Experienced and competent specialist staff the varied activities and specialties.

The Meadowbrook day Camp is an integral part of the Meadowbrook School of Weston and shares a similar philosophy on the nurturing and development of children.

Meadowbrook Day Camp complies with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (105 CMR 430) and is licensed yearly by the Weston Board of Health.
