As a part of Community service day, Grade Five students volunteered their morning on a local organic farm. The farm produces food for its investors, with all surplus going to benefit local food pantries. Students planted hundreds of watermelons and weeded long rows of garlic, working side by side with the full-time farmers and learning valuable lessons about both sustainable agriculture and service.
