Imagine More - The Campaign for Meadowbrook

Times change. Schools change. New buildings open, and new heads of school begin. This is true at Meadowbrook with our spectacular, state-of-the-art Learning Commons and Lower School and the arrival of Head of School arvind grover.

New circumstances generate new possibilities. Imagine More launched in the fall of 2015 with the strong support of the Board of Trustees and school leadership. Now, with the completion of the Learning Commons and Lower School, the time has come to broaden the campaign to involve more of the Meadowbrook community in the excitement.

Making the campaign comprehensive - that is, including the Annual Fund as part of the overall goal - allows Meadowbrook to do just this. It means that everyone who makes a gift to Meadowbrook will be counted as a campaign donor, and it expands Imagine More's reach and impact. The campaign is about PEOPLE, PLACE, and PROGRAM.

Imagine More is the most ambitious fundraising initiative in Meadowbrook's history. It represents both a highly strategic undertaking that will strengthen the school we love and a celebration of Meadowbrook's proud history. Its name reflects the spirit of curiosity we instill in children - inspiring students, parents, faculty, and friends to envision a future full of possibility for our school. Join with us now in the final phase of Imagine More as we turn those bright dreams into reality.

arvind grover Talks About Imagine More

Faculty: Imagine More includes several endowed funds targeted specifically for faculty. These include the Steve Hinds Faculty Support Program; named for Meadowbrook's longest-serving headmaster, the fund will help Meadowbrook continue to offer highly competitive salaries and benefits to our expert teachers. In addition, the campaign will bolster endowment for the Meadowbrook Leadership Institute (MLI), which gives teachers opportunities to further refine their pedagogical expertise and explore new ways of bringing curricular innovations into Meadowbrook's classrooms.

Financial Assistance: Our school is enriched by a diverse mix of background, experiences, and opinions. Maintaining the broad spectrum of talented, deserving students requires a robust program of financial assistance. Imagine More includes an endowed fund that will enable us to increase our financial assistance, ensuring that children from all backgrounds can enhance our learning community,

Learning Commons & Lower School

Opened in September 2017, this vibrant facility has transformed Meadowbrook's campus and invigorated the learning environment across the school. New larger lower school classrooms with adjacent breakout areas are providing the space needed for active group learning. The creation of a science hub has allowed better curriculum integration across grade levels. Creativity abounds throughout the school day, thanks to the Danoff Family Innovation Center, new woodworking classroom, and the Stansky Family Makerspace. The spacious library offers reading nooks and study areas and sits next to our technology department and multicultural office to facilitate interdisciplinary studies. The community kitchen offers an ideal setting for parent coffees and meetings as well as Middle School cooking electives. This new building is a true investment in Meadowbrook's future. Campaign gifts will help the school secure the budgeted $25 million for construction costs.

Annual Fund

Meadowbrook has outstanding faculty, staff, and facilities. The Annual Fund is about Meadowbrook's program - all of the pieces that come together to make the school extraordinary. Last year, the Annual Fund acoounted for 13% of the school's budget, which supported a wide range of everyday needs like educational software, new library books, microscopes, and art supplies. The Annual Fund also leverages the power of working together; it's where many smaller gifts combine to form the largest single gift Meadowbrook typically receives in a year.
