Every Meadowbrook court and field serves as an extension of our classrooms. In practices and in games, middle school athletes learn the same lessons regarding hard work and responsibility, while gaining an appreciation for the unique roles played be each member of a team. They train their bodies and minds, gaining strength from every victory and renewed determination from every defeat.Beginning in 6th grade, student-athletes can choose from a wide variety of team and individual sports – from traditional options like soccer, baseball, and basketball, to lacrosse, squash, rock climbing, and more. As they compete against peer schools, students come to understand the essential power of teamwork under the guidance of their coaches – almost all of whom are Meadowbrook teachers. The experiences they share on the field help them to become stronger leaders, better teammates, and more respectful, dedicated members of their community.
