Create a Lasting Legacy

Some gifts meet the needs of today. A planned gift shapes what’s possible tomorrow.

By planning a future gift to Meadowbrook, you can turn your belief in our mission into an investment that ensures we can continue to know, love, and challenge every child for generations to come.

A planned or estate gift is a powerful way to show your belief in the importance of a Meadowbrook education while accommodating your own personal, financial, estate-planning, and philanthropic goals. Depending on your circumstances, a charitable gift may significantly reduce tax obligations and/or preserve more of your assets for your heirs.

Planned giving can also be simpler than many people realize. A gift through your will or trust, a beneficiary designation for retirement assets or life insurance, or another planned giving arrangement may allow you to make a meaningful future commitment without affecting your current financial security.

You may direct your gift to the School’s greatest needs or to a particular passion area or purpose, including faculty support and professional development, financial assistance, student programming, and facilities.

Our Advancement team would be pleased to speak with you confidentially and without obligation as you explore the possibilities.

WAYS TO MAKE A PLANNED GIFT

A Gift in Your Will or Trust

Include Meadowbrook in your will or living trust through a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or all or part of the remaining balance. A bequest is generally flexible and can be updated if your circumstances change.

A Beneficiary Designation

Name Meadowbrook as a full or partial beneficiary of a retirement account, life insurance policy, or other eligible financial account. Beneficiary designations are often easy to establish and typically do not require changes to your will.

Other Planned Giving Opportunities

Depending on your goals, charitable trusts, gifts of real estate, life insurance, or other assets may provide additional opportunities to support Meadowbrook. We encourage you to consult your legal and financial advisors and to speak with Meadowbrook before establishing a restricted gift.

The Alma Gray Legacy Society

Named in honor of Meadowbrook’s first Head of School, Alma Gray, The Alma Gray Legacy Society recognizes a dedicated group of alumni, families, and friends who wish to make a lasting impact on Meadowbrook’s future by providing critical long-term funding for the school.

When you make a gift to Meadowbrook through your will, retirement assets, insurance policy, or another planned giving vehicle, we honor your generosity and vision through automatic membership in The Alma Gray Legacy Society. There is no minimum gift required for membership.

Members of The Alma Gray Legacy Society create a legacy that extends far beyond their own lifetimes and ensure that Meadowbrook will live its mission to know, love, and challenge generations of students to come.
