Where can you find a warm, nurturing, safe space where a child can be a child after the school day has ended? The Meadowbrook After School Program, of course!

Started more than 20 years ago, our robust After School Program offers a seamless transition from regular school hours. Our After School team makes it a point to give kids a balance of structure and free play. After School students do projects that are so much fun, they don’t even realize they’re learning.

Enrichment Classes

If your child is part of the After School Program, they can also sign up for a number of fun and engaging enrichment classes. Click here to see a full listing of our Fall 2025 Enrichment offerings. Here are some examples of classes we offer!

Budding Scientists

Children are encouraged to explore and recognize the links between science and the day-to-day. After talking about the anatomy of a cloud, children may make cloud dough. Or they concoct their own toothpaste following a lesson on the impact of good oral hygiene. Budding Scientists is a fun way to learn about the world around us!

Coding

Have you ever wanted to create your own website? This 8-week program will introduce you to the basics of web design, including HTML and CSS. By the end, you'll use your new skills to build a website about something that interests you. Our instructor, Conrad Buys, is part of the Meadowbrook Tech Department and also works with the Meadowbrook First Lego League.

Super Sports

This action-packed class concentrates on introducing a variety of sports and the basic skills needed to play these sports. Cooperation and teamwork are the focus, rather than the competitiveness of the games.

Hand and Machine Sewing

Students in this class will learn how to thread a needle and hand sew. Students will also learn how to use the sewing machine under the supervision of a knowledgeable HipStitch instructor.

Beginner Debate Club

Our Beginner Debate Club is the perfect introduction to public speaking for elementary and middle school students. Through games, activities, and guided practice, students learn the fundamentals of persuasive speaking, Public Forum debate structure, and delivery skills like tone, body language, and pacing.
