Grandparents and Special Friends are an important part of the Meadowbrook community!
Throughout the year, we host several community events where grandparents and special friends (a significant adult other than a parent/guardian) are invited, and one special day that’s just for them. It’s hard to tell who loves these days more – the children or their grandparents and special friends!
Grandparents and Special Friends Day
Tuesday, November 24, 2026, 8:30–11:30 a.m.
Grandparents and Special Friends Day is an annual celebration that gives grandparents and special friends a glimpse into a morning at Meadowbrook. The morning starts with a joyous Assembly featuring JK–8 student performances, followed by a reception and conversation with school leadership. Grandparents and Special Friends then enjoy classroom visits with their student(s). This day is filled with singing, laughter, and excitement as beloved family members and friends walk through the halls of Meadowbrook. We look forward to welcoming you to campus!

Opportunities to Give at Meadowbrook
Every year, more than 600 community members rally together to raise $2.35M for The Meadowbrook Fund. Accounting for more than 11% of our operating budget, these critical current-use resources allow us to meet our students’ and teachers' most pressing needs and to pursue promising opportunities as they arise throughout the year.
More than $1 out of every $4 raised comes from grandparents, alumni families, and friends. Every gift matters and directly supports teaching and learning at Meadowbrook.
