A Letter from the Head of School

Head of School
I began my educational career teaching preschool, where I made it my goal to create an environment where children could feel comfortable exploring the boundaries of their imagination and discovering what it means to take joy in learning. I've brought that goal to every job I've held since — from instructing high schoolers in digital ethics to my position now Meadowbrook's Head of School.
I am proud to say that joy in learning abounds at Meadowbrook.
Every day, our amazing faculty ensures that students from 4- to 14-years-old feel free to follow their passions and chart their own course of learning. This excitement and agency is vital in building not just the kind of school that our children need, but also the kind of school they deserve.
As experts in child development, we understand that growth is not linear. Some days, it seems to jump exponentially; other days, it seems to take a step back. That’s exactly how it is supposed to be. It is our privilege to partner with families to work through all stages of development. This relationship produces the fertile ground that allows each and every Meadowbrook student to thrive.
I look forward to welcoming you to our community and showing you the uniquely supportive atmosphere that fosters both academic rigor and social-emotional intelligence.
