What are employee matching gift programs?

Employee matching gift programs are charitable giving programs through which companies match eligible donations made by their employees. Some employers also match gifts from employees’ spouses and retirees.

By requesting a match, you can often double or triple your impact—and provide even greater support for Meadowbrook students and teachers.

How do I request a matching gift?

Requesting a matching gift is normally a five-minute process that must be initiated by the donor. You can do this through an electronic submission process or by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer. Please search our database above for company-specific information.

How can I turn my volunteer time into extra funding for your organization?

Your time at Meadowbrook may have matching value, too. Many employers offer volunteer grant programs—sometimes called “Dollars for Doers”—through which they make a financial contribution in recognition of an employee’s volunteer service.

Some companies also provide Volunteer Time Off, allowing employees to volunteer during work hours without using personal time. Search for your employer above to see whether either opportunity is available to you.
