About Meadowbrook's Day of Service
We invite you to join us for Meadowbrook’s annual Day of Service on Saturday, April 25, 2026. This is a unique opportunity for members of the Meadowbrook community to band together to make a positive difference in our local communities.
Service projects (see list below) will be led by students and current parents with participation from current family members, alumni, parents of alumni, and faculty.
We invite all volunteers to join us on campus for a pancake breakfast from 9–10 a.m., immediately followed by our community service projects from 10 a.m. to noon.
Early registration is encouraged. Please register by Monday, April 13.
Registration for the pancake breakfast and service projects is required by completing the form provided below.
Service Project Options
Our Day of Service is not a drop-off event. All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
When registering, you will be asked to rank the service projects in order of preference. We will make every effort to assign you to your top-ranked project.
In addition to several individual project options, we are offering a unique opportunity to impact multiple organizations, as a family or group, with the Meadowbrook Makers project. Families will rotate through projects for Jared Boxes, Spoonfuls, and Hope & Comfort.
Items Needed for Day of Service
Support The Community Service Club's Collection Drives
In addition to volunteering on April 25, we invite you to support the Student Community Service Club’s Drives for this year’s Day of Service. Whether you’re joining us in person or participating from afar, you can make a meaningful impact by purchasing much-needed items for our on-campus projects benefiting Spoonfuls, Jared Boxes, Hope & Comfort, and Operation Gratitude. Thank you for helping us serve our community in meaningful ways.
Please feel free to purchase items at a store of your choosing or, for your convenience, here is a link to an Amazon Wish List. During March, the Community Service Club will lead collection efforts with drop-off boxes outside of classrooms. Please use the collection bin in the rotunda or ship orders directly to The Meadowbrook School of Weston, 10 Farm Road, Weston, MA 02493, Attn: Advancement Office.
We kindly ask that all items be received by Thursday, April 9.

Mass Audubon is the largest nature-based conservation organization in New England. Founded in 1896 by two women who fought for the protection of birds, Mass Audubon carries on their legacy by focusing on the greatest challenges facing the environment today: the loss of biodiversity, inequitable access to nature, and climate change. With the help of our 160,000 members and supporters, we protect wildlife, conserve and restore resilient land, advocate for impactful environmental policies, offer nationally recognized education programs for adults and children, and provide endless opportunities to experience the outdoors at our wildlife sanctuaries.

Formed in 1965 by a group of concerned citizens who raised alarm about the declining health of the Charles River, Charles River Watershed Association (CRWA) is one of the oldest watershed organizations in the country. In the 60 years since our founding, CRWA has guided the transformation of our river from the “Dirty Water” of the past–––rife with industrial pollution, sewage, trash, and even cars––to the Charles River we know and love today, one of the cleanest, most celebrated urban rivers in the country.

As part of our Day of Service we are offering a unique opportunity to impact multiple organizations – as a family or group. Your family or group will contribute to the assembly of Hope & Comfort, Jared Boxes, Spoonfuls, and the Community Care Station. You will rotate through each service project, contributing to all of them!
Hope & Comfort is the only organization in Massachusetts solely dedicated to addressing hygiene insecurity. The many requests for hygiene products we receive tell the story of thousands of youth and families without access to the essentials. This has a profound impact on their health and self-esteem. Supplying items like soap and deodorant gives them the confidence to succeed.
Hope & Comfort works with more than 350 youth-serving and community organizations – including college campuses – to provide hygiene products such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and menstrual products.

The Jared Box Project’s mission is to entertain and put a smile on the faces of children in the hospital. Each box contains small gifts, toys, games, crayons, coloring books and fun activities selected for a specific age and gender. Children and their parents are so thankful for these boxes that showcase the importance of play and are filled with well wishes, hope and love.

Joy, hope, kindness and compassion are always at the forefront of our thinking at the Sanctuary. By working together with the community on topics such as compassionate farmed animal care, sustainable organic farming practices, the power of kindness, and the value of volunteerism, we seek positive changes for animals and people alike. Unity Farm Sanctuary is dedicated to the lifetime care of a limited population of ill, disabled, senior, orphaned or otherwise surrendered farmed animals.
